Fritha Fallon is the Artistic Director of Salsa Diva Dance Company. She has a range of qualifications including, BA (Hons) Dance in Society gained at the University of Surrey, and Specialist Diploma: Teaching Studies (Dance) at the Laban Centre London. She has been working as a performer, choreographer and teacher for several years, based in Surrey. Prior to setting up this company she trained in Africa and Cuba, and with top Salsa dancers from New York and L.A. She specialises in Salsa, Contemporary and Street dance styles and enjoys combining them to make imaginative and original work. Fritha has experience of teaching in a broad range of contexts. She particularly enjoys community dance work which integrates people with special needs, and teaching Salsa in a relaxed and fun environment. Fritha appeared on the TV programmes Cyber Café and GMTV, and came third in the professional category of the Scalalatina Salsa Championship in 2002. She also performs with the Manhattan Mambo Dancers.
