STARTING SALSA DANCING

First of all, "welcome" to Salsa Machine. Salsa Machine is the best place around to learn, and enjoy dancing salsa.
All you need to start is 2 feet. That's it. We'll do the rest. We don't assume any dance knowledge or experience, so we'll teach and guide you right from the very start.

Our instructors are friendly professionals with expertise and experience to make you feel comfortable and ensure you know exactly what to do. Our club is open to everyone and anyone, and has a fantastic social atmosphere, it's a great place to meet people, have fun, get fit, build confidence, and of course dance!

Addiction is the only word to describe our desire and love of salsa dancing. Not only is the rhythm completely addictive, the salsa dance is the most fun you can have standing up (with the possible exception of eating chocolate - salsa lasts longer though!). You don't need to bring a partner, and no booking required.

Learning to dance is a bit like learning a language: if you have a poem inside you, you need a language to express that poem for others to share it. It may be the best, most dramatic, soulful, profound and poignant of all poems, but no one will enjoy the expression of that poem without a language with which to render it. And, the better you know the language with all it's syntax, semantics, grammar, punctuation, spelling etc, then the better you will be able paint your poem. Partner dancing is the same. Everyone has a fantastic story or poem inside them, and everyone has a dancer inside them - we will teach you the language of salsa dancing so that you can express your self to music and set your dancer free.

Salsa dancing is an amazingly popular and expressive and fun dance, and in our hands you'll become the best you can be.
